2026 Millewa Football Netball Association – MEGA DAY

The Mallee Dragons were invited by Millewa Football Netball Association to participate in the annual Mega Day event on Saturday 16th May. This is the third occasion we have fielded a side to compete in an All Abilities exhibition game, and the team continues to develop year on year. This year we were fortunate that the rain held out and we managed to get two ten-minute halves in against a combination team of Meringur and Werrimull netballers. The Dragons displayed great spirit, moving the ball up and down the court quickly and demonstrating how far their skills have come in the last few years. Appreciation goes out to Brooke Watson for coordinating our participation, Susie Wilson for rallying the opposing netballers to give us a game, and Coach Chris for his leadership on the day. Player of the day went to Bethany Williams for her relentless defensive efforts!
