2026 Active Youth Program – Kerang Sth Primary School
The Mallee Sports Assembly, in partnership with Kerang South Primary School, has successfully delivered another engaging Active Youth Program for Grade 5 and 6 students as part of the VicHealth Regional Sport Program initiative.
The four-week program was designed to encourage young people to participate in regular physical activity while making positive lifestyle choices, with activities developed from student survey feedback to reflect their interests and needs.
The sessions included: Disability Awareness, Healthy Eating, Nature Walks, Drug & Alcohol Education, Golf, Bullying Awareness, Gravity Schac,k and Swimming.
A huge thank you for all the support provided by Northern District Health, Swan Hill Police, Kerang Golf Club, headspace Swan Hill, Campaspe Aquatic and Leisure Centre, and the Kerang Sth Primary School. The Active Youth Program continues to provide meaningful learning experiences that promote inclusion, physical activity, health awareness, and positive lifestyle habits that will benefit students well into the future.
