Congratulations, Nathan Argiro October 2025 Sports Star of the Month – CLAY TARGET SHOOTING

Nathan’s 2025 season has been highlighted by exceptional performances on both national and international stages. He recently competed at the Universal Trap World Championship in Rome, Italy, where he broke 194 out of 200 targets to finish equal fourth against a world-class field of 430 competitors. This performance followed his historic victory at the Perazzi Cup in Italy in July, where he became the first non-European athlete to claim the title and the first Australian to win the Trofeo Vittoria Alata.

In May, Nathan narrowly missed the top 6 final at the World Cup in Cyprus after a sudden death shoot-off with multiple Olympic champions. Earlier in the year, Nathan also took first place at the NSW State Championships and third place at the QLD State Championships. His consistent excellence has kept him at the top of the Australian Series selections for multiple months. At the Mildura Grand Prix Universal Trap in March, he shot 196 out of a possible 200 targets, including a run of 107 consecutively, breaking a club record that had stood for 30 years.
