May 7 2026Buloke Tae Kwon-Do Silver Medalist
BULOKE TAE KWON-DOCongratulations Anisa PodascaDUAL SILVER FOR ANISIA PODASCA AT GLOBAL OPEN TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPSLocal martial artist Anisia Podasca achieved outstanding success in April 2026, earning two silver medals at an international martial arts championship featuring competitors from both ITF Taekwon-Do and World Taekwondo (WT). The event attracted strong international representation, making her results particularly impressive on the global stage.Anisia originally trained in Kyokushin Karate before transitioning to ITF Taekwon-Do just six months ago. In that short time, she committed herself to mastering the full technical requirements of her belt level — demonstrating the kind of discipline and attention to detail that comes from not avoiding the hard work.Competing in both sparring and patterns (forms), Anisia secured silver medals in both divisions, delivering disciplined and composed performances throughout the competition. Her achievements highlight her dedication and reflect the growing depth of martial arts talent emerging within the Buloke community and beyond. After a long day of international competition, a dual global silver medallist still needs to refuel.Anisia also acknowledged the support of the Geelong coaching team, particularly Andrew Watkins, who assisted with coaching duties while I was serving as Head Adjudicator for the WT events on Ring 3.
